Alison Krauss
Alison Krauss has been a country singer for over 30 years. She was born in Decatur, Illinois on the 23rd July 1971. LeAnn Kymes, along with Krauss, were amongst the Grammy Award winners who were among the youngest. Alison Maria Krauss (born July 23 1971) is an American bluegrass country singer and musician. Alison Maria Krauss began her career in music as a child and was a winner of local contests by the age of 10. Her first recording was her first time at age fourteen. When she was 14, she signed with Rounder Records and in 1987 she released her first solo album. She was also invited to the group Alison Krauss Union Station where she continues to perform. Then, in 1989, her first solo album was released together with them.
