Harry Edward Styles is an English singer, songwriter and musician. He was one of the members of One Direction. The parents of his son were Des Styles and Anne Cox. The couple were born on 1st February 1994, in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire. Harry Styles attended the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive school where along with three fellow students, he created his group musical, White Eskimo. They took home the Battle of Bands in 2009, thanks to their outstanding results. He was always interested in music, but he was enthused to be a lawyer or physical therapy. In order to provide for the family he spent a short time working part-time in a bakery. Harry Styles auditioned for The X Factor in 2010 and performed Is not She Lovely, an iconic Stevie Wonder song. He was selected. The reason for this is that his band was split. Nicole Scherzinger proposed to Harry Styles to be a part of a brand new group, One Direction. The other group members included Liam Payne Zayn Mallik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell was the sponsor of this group. The group was formed in the year 2010. The group was backed by Cowell, and they sang Kelly Clarkson's My Life Would Suck without You and Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart. They were among the top contenders in the competition. They were however 3rd place, in the third place, behind Rebecca Ferguson and winner Matt Cardle. Harry Styles' group didn't take home the prize, however Cowell did pay $2 million to One Direction for them to sign a deal with Syco.
