Charissa Thompson

Thompson she left FOX Sports for Yahoo Sports in 2010, she also was the host for Versus Sports. She was the host of Versus' NHL coverage in the studio and created web-based content for Yahoo's heavily-shopped platform. Thompson was the site's presence during high-profile sporting events such as those of the 2010 Winter Olympics and FIFA World Cup. Achieving success in both areas has led her to joining ESPN in August 2011 in which she was selected as one of the hosts on ESPN's newest show for the afternoon "Numbers Never lie." She joined in July 2012 to join the "SportsNation" organization in July 2012. The program was an enormous success and she was there until the end of May 2013 after which she returned to Los Angeles to launch FS1. Thompson is a huge sports enthusiast, however she has shown the flexibility needed to make the transition from sports into entertainment. After a few months of several part-time jobs, Thompson was appointed as the permanent host of the Hollywood nightly newsmagazine "Extra".
