Ariana Grande

Ariana Grande-Butera,/,a.ri'a.n@ 'gra?ndeI/ ARIEAH-n@ GRAHN.day;[note 1,born June 26, 1993), is an American artist, actress and singer. Her four-octave vocal range, and signature use of whistle registers have been highly praised by the journalists and critics. Grande has received numerous accolades throughout her career such as two Grammy Awards, one Brit Award, one Bambi Award, two Billboard Music Awards Three American Music Awards, nine MTV Video Music Awards, and 30 Guinness World Records.

Grande started her career in music at age 15 in the year 2008's Broadway musical 13. Grande became a star in the role of Cat Valentine on Nickelodeon's television series Victorious (2010 from 2010 to 2013) and Sam & Cat(2013 - 2014). After watching YouTube videos of Grande singing, Republic Records signed Grande to their label in the year 2011. Grande's 1950s-doowop-influenced R&B and debut pop album"[2] Yours Truly (2013), reached the top ten on the US Billboard Hot 100. Grande's voice and whistle sounds on the album were instantly compared with Mariah Carey.

The second and third studio albums, My Everything (2014) and Dangerous Woman (2016), continued her exploration into pop and R&B. My Everything experimented with EDM and became a huge hit due to the singles "Problem", "Break Free" and "Bang Bang" and Dangerous Woman became her first album to have four consecutive albums at number one in the UK. Personal issues influenced the fourth and fifth albums of her studio, which were infused with trap music. Sweetener (2018) and Thank U, Next (2019) both of which were commercial and critical successes. Sweetener was awarded the Grammy Award for Best Pop Vocal Album. Thank U Next broke records for the most streamed week of pop albums and was nominated for Album of the Year. Grande was the first solo artist to make it to the top three spots of the Hot 100 and become the first woman to be awarded the top position on the UK Singles Chart with the singles "Thank U. Next", "7 Rings" and "Break up with Your Girlfriend. Her collaborations for 2020 "Stuck with U" with Justin Bieber and "Rain on Me" together with Lady Gaga helped her break the record for most number-one debuts on the Hot 100, the latter winning the Grammy Award for Best Pop duo or group performance. Grande extended her trap genre when she released her sixth studio album, Positions (2020), that album as well as the album's title track debut at number one in the UK and US. In 2021, she collaborated with The Weeknd on the remix of "Save Your Tears", earning her sixth US number-one single.
